Last call for attending the eagle outing.
Noon-3pm
Meeting at the Great Rivers Museum in Alton at the Locks & Dam.
For most travelers - take I-270E to Highway 367N/67N to Alton.
Cross the Alton Bridge, turn right.
Straight through the next two stop lights for about 2.0 miles.
Turn right at the stoplight into the entrance of the Locks&Dam and museum.
We will meet inside the museum at noon. A live bald eagle is to be on display from the World Bird Sanctuary from noon-4pm. You'll be able to photograph it and ask the expert questions.
From there, we'll carpool up the River Road and Riverlands Area. We'll stop where we see eagles.
Dress warm, especially your feet and hands. Carry an extra camera battery on the inside of your layers. The cold drains batteries fast.

January Meeting
We had a good turnout for the January meeting. At the meeting Jim Trotter went over up-coming events. Eric Bloemker gave an outstanding program about photographing Eagles and the Eagle PhotoShoot - Alton, Sunday January 25th.
