Life is a fulltime job, but if you can free up some of your time to volunteer at the Guild for this fundraiser, you'll have a good time, and so will the patrons. Hopefully, you can volunteer even if for one hour. some positions already have names (see attached), but even if you can add an hour to help there, it will be appreciated. There are lots of different opportunities for volunteering, too:

Collectors Choice X
Sponsorship/Donors

This begins as soon as possible and will be quite instrumental in our financial success. Your duties will be in procuring sponsorship and/or donations from individuals and corporations. You must be comfortable calling on people and speaking in positive and grand tones about our wonderful Guild. We have already made packets for you to take with you to make this smooth and pleasant.

Silent Auction
You will be assisting Joanne Stremsterfer in the solicitation, documentation, display, and sale of silent auction items. The silent auction will be held at our Opening Party, May 20. This is an important element of the event. and has been an excellent source of funds for our Guild. Your work may begin well before the event.

Marketing Committee
You will assist Marianne Erickson, Adrian Aquilino and Karen Glines in the task of advertising our event and getting the press, the patrons, and the public here on May 20 and June 12! This is a very important job and begins immediately.

Receiving Committee
May 14 10:00am - noon (Saturday)
May 15 10:00am - noon (Sunday)

Ideally, we will have one person from each section receiving artwork, checking that forms are properly filled out and attached to work, that frames are secure, acknowledgement letters are given, and artists are wann!y appreciated!

Entertainment Committee
June 12, Selection Party
We will be extending Guild hospitality and appreciation tu the band who will be playing prior to the Selection process. They will need to have their beverages refilled, and snacks brought to them from 11:00-12:30.

Laurie Mac will be our MC again this year. I'd like someone to stay with her, making certain she is comfortable and has everything she needs.

Art Runners
June 12 12:45-3:30
As an art runner, you will have the pleasure of locating and delivering artwork to the ticket holder as their names are called. You' ll need to be able to climb the stairs when the elevator is busy, lift work off of the wall or display case, and carry it to the recipient. This is a new but very important role in our Selection Party. We will need 16 of you wonderful people!

Hospitality Committee
May 20, Opening Party
5:45-7pm
7-8pm (also selling tickets to CCX)
8-9pm (also selling tickets to CCX)

This committee is dedicated to greeting guests, directing them to sign-in tables, making guests feel welcome and special.
Some people will be needed to check-in artists and ticket holders.

One person will be needed to specifically greet and direct guests as they get off of the shuttle bus.

Hospitality Committee
June 12, Selection Party
Several friendly people are needed to greet and direct guests as they arrive. Someone will also be assigned the joh of greeting shuttle passengers as they disembark.
